New Beginnings

Hello! It's been a while and a lot has happened since our last blog post. We recently relocated our residence/headquarters to Bedstuy, Brooklyn! Living and working in Flatbush was such an amazing yet challenging experience. We created a lot of memories and connections in that space. To leave was a bittersweet process.

Unlike the first two Wall installments, The Wall in Flatbush was created on a large scale canvas. It was so special to be able to roll up this Wall and bring it with us. However, we did apply some white paint during our last days there. Documenting that last stage symbolically represented us closing this chapter.

D360 shop is still open on our website and depop! Also, we fully intend on creating a new Wall Experience in Bedstuy! Most of all, we're so excited to get involved in another neighborhood/community.

D360 Kids Paint Playdate

We had so much fun at our first ever D360 Kids Paint Playdate this past weekend! Local mothers were invited along with their children to paint on The Wall in Flatbush as well as other canvases/materials we provided. In our opinion, visual arts are paramount in a childs' development. It's even more special to share that experience of creativity with a family member/caretaker. We'll definitely plan more kid friendly events in the future! Below are a few pictures from the event.

A 360˚ Experience

We recently invited various artists into our studio space for a night of creative exploration. Among the attendees were not only visual artists, but also performers, such as, musicians and dancers. Much like The Wall project, our intent for A 360˚ Experience is to curate a safe space for people to freely express themselves. Everyone was encouraged to draw and paint on our collaborative mural, The Wall in Flatbush. At the artists discretion, we allowed people to perform any piece they wanted throughout the night. The schedule for the night was open forum and focused around the inclusivity of everyones unique talents. It was so rejuvenating to collaborate with so many different artists at once. The energy of everyone who attended was so positively abundant! We're planning our next date for A 360˚ Experience so details will be announced shortly! Below are a few photographs from the event. You can also see clips of some performances on our Instagram @degreesof360. Look for more footage to come on our YouTube channel!
